AI is everywhere right now, but when it comes to your business finances, it's hard to separate what's genuinely useful from what's simply hype. Most tutorials focus on writing prompts or experimenting with AI features. They rarely show how AI can help with the financial tasks business owners deal with every month, or explain where AI's answers should (and shouldn't) be trusted.
This masterclass is different.
You'll discover practical ways to use AI to simplify your business finances, save time, better understand your numbers, and make more confident business decisions.
More importantly, you'll learn the CPA perspective behind every example: where AI adds value, where it falls short, and where professional judgment is still essential.
Perfect for:
Canadian business owners who manage some or all of their own finances
Anyone curious about AI but unsure how it fits into their financial workflow
Business owners who want real, practical examples instead of generic AI tutorials
Every month brings another round of financial tasks.
Bookkeeping.
Reviewing reports.
Preparing for tax season.
Staying organized.
Trying to make sense of a letter from CRA or Revenu Québec.
None of these tasks, on their own, are particularly difficult. Together, though, they eat up time and mental energy you'd rather spend serving clients or growing your business.
You know that AI can help, but you're not sure where or how. Or you haven't even thought to ask it the question.
In this masterclass, I'm going to show you 7 specific ways AI can genuinely help with your business finances.
I'm also going to look at how to know when to trust it, and when not to.
Instead of searching YouTube, experimenting with random prompts, or wondering whether AI's answer is actually correct, you'll learn practical approaches you can immediately apply to the financial tasks you're already doing.
You'll also discover something most AI tutorials never teach:
As a CPA, I'll explain not only how AI can simplify financial tasks, but also where mistakes commonly happen, what should always be verified, and where professional judgment still matters.
You'll watch me demonstrate seven practical ways AI can simplify common financial tasks that Canadian business owners face every month.
For every demonstration, I'll explain the CPA perspective behind it:
Why the approach works
Where AI's answers can genuinely be trusted
Where mistakes commonly happen
What I would verify before relying on the results
You'll leave with practical techniques you can immediately apply in your own business, not just a collection of prompts, but a clearer understanding of where AI can genuinely save time, improve your financial understanding, and where your own judgment is still essential.
See how AI can organize your banking information in minutes instead of hours
Identify duplicate charges, creeping subscriptions, and spending patterns worth a closer look.
See how AI can help flag possible deductions worth investigating before tax time.
Turn financial information into meaningful insight you can actually use.
Get a clearer sense of what's coming instead of only looking backward.
Walk in prepared instead of scrambling to pull everything together in March.
Understand what it's actually telling you, what needs action, and what doesn't.
We'll begin with a live overview of what AI can (and can't) do for your business finances, what you'll learn, and how to get the most from the masterclass.
Watch seven practical demonstrations that show how AI can simplify real financial tasks. Recording them in advance means every example is clean and focused, without the technical hiccups that can derail a live AI demo.
Bring your own questions and business scenarios. We'll discuss your situations, explore additional use cases, and build on what you've learned during the demonstrations.
Revisit the masterclass whenever you like. Your replay access doesn't expire, so you can come back to the demonstrations and Q&A whenever you need a refresher.
A downloadable guide that includes every prompt used during the masterclass, along with key takeaways, practical notes, and links to helpful resources so you can easily apply what you've learned to your own business.
A quick-reference guide for the moments AI gets it wrong. What to double-check before you rely on any result.

Do I need to be tech-savvy?
Not at all. If you can copy and paste, you'll be able to follow every demonstration.
Is this actually live?
The introduction and Q&A are live. The seven demonstrations are pre-recorded, which means every example is clean and focused instead of risking the technical hiccups that can derail a live AI demo. You'll still get real-time interaction during the intro and Q&A.
How long is the masterclass?
Approximately 90 minutes, including live Q&A.
Can I attend if I'm a sole proprietor?
Absolutely. The concepts apply to both sole proprietors and incorporated businesses. Where there are differences, I'll explain how they apply.
Which AI tools will you be using?
The demonstrations will use several AI tools. While each has its own strengths, the principles and workflows you'll learn can often be adapted to whichever tools you already use.
Is it safe to use my financial information with AI?
We'll discuss privacy considerations during the workshop, including what information is generally appropriate to share with AI, and what should remain confidential.
Is this financial or tax advice?
No. This is educational training designed to help you better understand how AI can support your financial workflow. It isn't personalized tax, legal, or financial advice.
I already use AI occasionally. Will I still learn something?
Yes. Most people use AI for general productivity. This workshop focuses on practical financial applications and, just as importantly, teaches you where AI can be trusted, what should be verified, and where professional judgment is still essential.
Will I receive a replay?
Yes. You'll receive ongoing access to the replay, so you can revisit the demonstrations, Q&A, and reference materials whenever you need them.
I'm Ronika Khanna, CPA, CFA and the founder of Montreal Financial.
For over 15 years, I've helped Canadian entrepreneurs, self-employed professionals, and incorporated business owners better understand the financial side of their businesses. Through one-on-one consulting, online courses, YouTube, and my membership community, my goal has always been the same: to make business, tax, and finance easier to understand.
I'm excited about the potential of AI. Not because it replaces professional judgment, but because it can help business owners save time and better understand their numbers.
In this masterclass, I'll share practical ways to use AI for everyday financial tasks, including when it's the wrong tool for the job and a professional's judgment is what you actually need.
